The NT381 series OPM and OPM&VFL products use single-chip microprocessor control with complete functions, and an embedded detector and laser for protection. The instrument has ten standard wavelengths including 1270 nm and 1577 nm, plus frequency recognition, wavelength recognition, automatic shutdown, CW/1 Hz/2 Hz red-light modes, backlight display, wavelength memory, user calibration and lighting; it also supports RJ45 cable sequence and cable tracking test, with a wide test range and high accuracy. It is mainly used for continuous optical signal power measurement, fibre link loss test and fibre line on-off test, and is widely used in cable construction and maintenance, fibre communication, fibre sensing and optical CATV.
